About the Bloom
The Scarlet Feaver Ginger plant boasts vibrant red blooms that add a striking pop of color to your garden. Blooming in the spring and summer, these fiery flowers are sure to grab attention and create a focal point in your landscape. The bright red blooms are a magnet for hummingbirds and butterflies, bringing life and movement to your outdoor space.
What to Know About the Plant
The Scarlet Feaver Ginger plant features lush green leaves that provide a lush backdrop for its stunning blooms. This evergreen plant adds a touch of tropical flair to your garden, with its bold foliage and vibrant flowers. Growing up to 3 feet tall, this compact plant is perfect for containers or as a border plant in your garden. Its compact size makes it ideal for smaller spaces or for adding a splash of color to your existing landscape.
Enhancing your Fruitscape
Integrate the Scarlet Feaver Ginger plant into your fruitscape to create a dynamic mix of edibles and ornamentals. Pair this ornamental plant with fruit trees like Citrus or Avocado for a tropical-inspired garden. Berry plants such as Blueberries or Raspberries can complement the Scarlet Feaver Ginger’s vibrant blooms with their own colorful fruits. Herbs like Mint or Basil can provide a fragrant and flavorful addition to your garden, enhancing the sensory experience. Create a garden that is both visually appealing and bountiful by mixing edibles and ornamentals with the Scarlet Feaver Ginger plant as the centerpiece.
Landscaping with House Plants
While this plant is perfectly suited for growing in a container as a house plant, it can just as well be planted in the ground to enhance a garden. We love these plants for that reason. They add instant appeal to spruce up the atmosphere wherever you choose. They typically prefer a little more shade and warmth which is why they do well on a patio or inside the house. The love of house plants is so natural and healthy. House plants improve the quality of air and enhance our moods. That’s why we can’t seem to get enough of them! Try mixing colors and textures to find your favorite planter look.

Growing Guide
Currently, we only have growing guides for our edible plants.  We are working on them for our ornamental & landscaping plants, and will add them in the near future. Contact us if you have questions on how to plant and nurture your House Plants, and we will be glad to have one of our gardeners assist you.
Ornamental & Landscaping Plants at Just Fruits & Exotics
Although Just Fruits and Exotics has been providing ornamental and landscaping plants to customers at our nursery since we added “Exotics” to our name in the 1990’s, we never had them available to our customers online.
However, September of 2018, with the launch of our updated Just Fruits and Exotics website, we added many of our ornamental and landscaping plants to our online store for our customers nationwide.  We encourage you to “Fruitscape†your yards, mixing edibles and ornamentals to make your own edible garden.

Shipping Information
Before Your Plants Arrive: You can find many guides on unpacking, planting, & care, on our growing guides page.
The Journey From Our Nursery to Your Door: We NEVER ship our plants bare root. Your plant will travel in the very container in which it was nurtured. We thoroughly prune and water them before packing, and make sure they’re well wrapped to retain moisture during transit. It’s as though you’ve personally collected them from our nursery!
Choose Your Ship Date: We understand you’ll want to be available when your plant arrives. Our checkout process features a handy calendar that allows you to choose the Monday on which you want your plant to ship. Depending on your location, you’ll likely receive your plant by Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of that week. Once shipped, UPS will generate a tracking number and send it to the email you provided. You can then follow your plant’s journey and ensure someone is available to unpack it on arrival day.
