Miss Sandra Crepe Myrtle – Elegance Blossoms in Your Garden
About the Bloom
Experience the stunning beauty of the Miss Sandra Crepe Myrtle’s blooms, which come in vibrant shades of pink, purple, or white, depending on the variety. These blooms typically appear in the summer months, creating a colorful spectacle in your garden. The crepe-like petals add a unique texture to the landscape, while the delicate fragrance fills the air, attracting butterflies and hummingbirds.
What to Know About the Plant
The Miss Sandra Crepe Myrtle boasts dark green leaves that turn vibrant shades of red, orange, or yellow in the fall before dropping in winter, making it a deciduous plant. This tree can reach heights of 10-20 feet, with a spread of 6-15 feet, forming a compact, rounded canopy. Its smooth, mottled bark adds interest to the winter landscape, making it a standout feature in any garden.
Enhancing your Fruitscape
Integrate the Miss Sandra Crepe Myrtle into your fruitscape to add a touch of elegance and color. Pair it with fruit trees like Apple, Cherry, or Fig, which complement its seasonal beauty while providing delicious harvests. Mix in berry plants such as Blueberries and Raspberries for a pop of color and flavor. Tropical plants like Pineapple Guava or Dwarf Banana trees can add a tropical flair to your garden, creating a unique and diverse landscape. Herbs like Thyme and Sage can also be planted around the base of the tree, adding fragrance and culinary appeal to your garden.
Landscaping with Evergreen Trees
There is nothing more pleasant than the sight of a lush green tree blowing in wind. These trees will keep their leaves year round which really provide an advantage in the landscape. When there are a lot of bare deciduous tree branches in the winter, evergreen trees provide a contrast in the landscape. Evergreen trees are also great for adding year round privacy to your property. Instead of building an unsightly privacy fence, plant an evergreen tree to have a lovely living fence. Use evergreen trees in the back drop of the landscape to provide a foundation for other shrubs and bushes. Evergreen trees also make a beautiful specimen tree that will stand strong and look elegant all year round.

Growing Guide
Currently, we only have growing guides for our edible plants.  We are working on them for our ornamental & landscaping plants, and will add them in the near future. Contact us if you have questions on how to plant and nurture your Evergreen Trees, and we will be glad to have one of our gardeners assist you.
Ornamental & Landscaping Plants at Just Fruits & Exotics
Although Just Fruits and Exotics has been providing ornamental and landscaping plants to customers at our nursery since we added “Exotics” to our name in the 1990’s, we never had them available to our customers online.
However, September of 2018, with the launch of our updated Just Fruits and Exotics website, we added many of our ornamental and landscaping plants to our online store for our customers nationwide.  We encourage you to “Fruitscape†your yards, mixing edibles and ornamentals to make your own edible garden.

Shipping Information
Before Your Plants Arrive: You can find many guides on unpacking, planting, & care, on our growing guides page.
The Journey From Our Nursery to Your Door: We NEVER ship our plants bare root. Your plant will travel in the very container in which it was nurtured. We thoroughly prune and water them before packing, and make sure they’re well wrapped to retain moisture during transit. It’s as though you’ve personally collected them from our nursery!
Choose Your Ship Date: We understand you’ll want to be available when your plant arrives. Our checkout process features a handy calendar that allows you to choose the Monday on which you want your plant to ship. Depending on your location, you’ll likely receive your plant by Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of that week. Once shipped, UPS will generate a tracking number and send it to the email you provided. You can then follow your plant’s journey and ensure someone is available to unpack it on arrival day.
