Just Fruits is a very unique plant nursery, as we grow & maintain many of the plants that we sell in store.  With this comes experience and knowledge that our customer base expects when meeting our retail sales staff to determine what plants fit their home best.

This Fall, our team is seeking to expand our in-store retail sales staff, with more great team members, that are knowledgeable about plants & fit our teams culture.  Here are the job requirements and details:

Job Requirements:

• Has base knowledge and experience in plants, gardening, and other agricultural education. This may be through formal schooling, self taught, or home school.
• Past retail experience is preferred, but not required if plant knowledge is extensive.
• Must be able to lift at least 50+ lbs
• Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions: Heat, Cold, Rain, etc
• Must be at least 16+ years of age or older
• Must pass required background checks
• Must be able to work during the hours of 9am-5pm at least 3 times per week (Mix of Weekdays & Weekends)

Job Pay and Hours

• Part time Wages start at $15 per hour.  Long term Growth in wages varies based on Part vs Full Time & Experience.
• 24-40 hours per week.  Available working days are every day 9-5pm except Tuesdays.

JF&E is a very unique plant nursery. We not only offer retail services, but we also grow many of our own plants. We specialize in growing specific varieties of fruiting, edible and ornamental plants that are hard to find elsewhere. This requires a very talented propagation & field team. We are now seeking another part time member of this team. This career includes everything from propagation of plants from cuttings or seed, growing and care, maintenance, and shipment of these plants. Full time members of the team must have a strong passion for growing the best fruit trees in the nation, as our mission is to provide the highest quality plants.  We seek experienced gardeners, whether that be through formal education, home school, or a self taught passion for both edible & ornamental gardening. Our Field Crew members are also assigned to work with our Fruitscape Design & Installation team on larger projects. Please be aware that although this job is very rewarding, it is mostly a lot of  physical work. We believe this is a very strong career for someone interested in the field of agriculture.

Job Requirements:

• Has experience in propagation, gardening, and other agricultural education. This may be through formal schooling, self taught, or home school.
• Has base knowledge in assembling / maintaining irrigation & greenhouse structures
• Must be able to lift at least 50+ lbs
• Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions: Heat, Cold, Rain, etc
• Must be physically able to operate machinery
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must pass required background checks

Job Pay and Hours

• Wages determined based on Part vs Full Time & Experience.
• 24-40 hours per week.  Available working day are every day 9-5pm except Tuesdays.
• Health & Retirement benefits are not currently provided
