Sundenia Hanging Vine – A Touch of Elegance for Your Garden
About the Bloom
Bring a touch of sophistication to your outdoor space with the Sundenia Hanging Vine’s vibrant blooms. This stunning plant boasts beautiful red, pink, and white flowers that bloom profusely in the summer, adding a burst of color and charm to your garden. The delicate petals and cascading growth make it a picturesque addition to any landscape.
What to Know About the Plant
The Sundenia Hanging Vine features lush green leaves that provide a striking backdrop for its colorful blooms. This evergreen vine is a fast grower, reaching heights of up to 12 feet, making it ideal for adding vertical interest to your garden. Its trailing habit and graceful appearance make it a perfect choice for hanging baskets, trellises, or as a ground cover.
Enhancing your Fruitscape
Integrate the Sundenia Hanging Vine into your fruitscape to create a stunning contrast with fruit trees, berry plants, and tropicals. Pair it with fruit trees like Cherry, Plum, or Fig for a dynamic combination of colors and textures. Mix in berry plants such as Strawberries or Blackberries to complement the vine’s vibrant blooms with pops of juicy fruit. For a tropical twist, consider adding Pineapple or Banana plants to create a lush, exotic paradise in your garden. Herbs like Mint or Basil can also enhance the sensory experience with their aromatic foliage, creating a harmonious blend of beauty and functionality.
At Just Fruits and Exotics, we ensure that your Sundenia Hanging Vine is shipped 100% in pot, preserving its health and vitality. Landscaping with Ornamental Vines
We love the classic look of a lush vine covering a trellised archway or gazebo. Vines are a very useful plant in the landscape because they can help transform a rigid structure into a lush living sculpture. Vines have a way of making you feel at home the way they hold the landscape together. We love to grow them up pagodas to create a natural shady spot for gathering with friends and family.
Recommended Fertilizers for Planting and Maintenance
- Starter Fertilizer:  Plant with Espoma Organic Bio-tone® Starter Plus. This will increase root mass and help avoid transplant loss in difficult planting conditions.
- Fertilizer to Maintain: Our Ornamental Vine Varieties do well with Espoma Organic Palm-tone Fertilizer
Growing Guide
Currently, we only have growing guides for our edible plants.  We are working on them for our ornamental & landscaping plants, and will add them in the near future. Contact us if you have questions on how to plant and nurture your Ornamental Vines, and we will be glad to have one of our gardeners assist you.
Ornamental & Landscaping Plants at Just Fruits & Exotics
Although Just Fruits and Exotics has been providing ornamental and landscaping plants to customers at our nursery since we added “Exotics” to our name in the 1990’s, we never had them available to our customers online.
However, September of 2018, with the launch of our updated Just Fruits and Exotics website, we added many of our ornamental and landscaping plants to our online store for our customers nationwide.  We encourage you to “Fruitscape†your yards, mixing edibles and ornamentals to make your own edible garden.

Shipping Information
Before Your Plants Arrive: You can find many guides on unpacking, planting, & care, on our growing guides page.
The Journey From Our Nursery to Your Door: We NEVER ship our plants bare root. Your plant will travel in the very container in which it was nurtured. We thoroughly prune and water them before packing, and make sure they’re well wrapped to retain moisture during transit. It’s as though you’ve personally collected them from our nursery!
Choose Your Ship Date: We understand you’ll want to be available when your plant arrives. Our checkout process features a handy calendar that allows you to choose the Monday on which you want your plant to ship. Depending on your location, you’ll likely receive your plant by Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of that week. Once shipped, UPS will generate a tracking number and send it to the email you provided. You can then follow your plant’s journey and ensure someone is available to unpack it on arrival day.
