White Marseilles Fig Tree – A Royal Choice for Your Garden

Experience the decadence of royal French gardens with our White Marseilles Fig Tree. Esteemed for its succulent, honey-like figs, this variety is your gateway to luxurious, homegrown fruits.

Our White Marseilles Fig Tree yields an abundant crop of large, green figs with a succulent, honey-sweet flavor that was once relished by Louis XIV of France. These fruits, with their lusciously sweet pulp and soft texture, are an absolute delight for fresh eating and a splendid addition to desserts, jams, and gourmet recipes.

Enjoy a bountiful harvest from summer to early fall, turning your garden into a luxurious fruit paradise reminiscent of the royal gardens at Versailles. With its sizeable harvests, the White Marseilles Fig Tree still maintains a compact growth habit, making it an excellent choice for small gardens, container growing, or Fruitscaping™ projects.

More than a prolific fruit bearer, the White Marseilles Fig Tree is a robust variety demonstrating good resistance to common fig diseases and pests. As a self-fertile tree, it ensures plentiful harvests without the need for a second tree for cross-pollination.

Alongside its divine fruits, this tree showcases deep green, deeply lobed leaves that form an attractive contrast with the large, green figs, adding visual appeal throughout the growing season.

Whether you’re looking to incorporate a touch of French luxury to your garden, engage in a rewarding Fruitscaping™ venture, or simply revel in the joy of homegrown figs, our White Marseilles Fig Tree is an exceptional choice. Order today and look forward to the pleasure of sweet, honey-like figs, fresh from your garden.

Fruitscaping™ with Fig Trees

Embrace the joy of Fruitscaping™ with our Fig Trees. Among the simplest and most rewarding fruiting plants to grow, figs are an excellent addition to any organic garden. Their inherent disease resistance and few pest issues can be managed easily without the need for harsh chemicals, ensuring a bountiful, eco-friendly harvest.

Our Fig trees exhibit a diverse palette of flavors, textures, and ripening seasons. Some varieties possess thin skins with succulent centers evoking the flavor of rich maple syrup – a delight when savored fresh from the tree. Other varieties offer a naturally sweet texture, perfect for drying or turning into delectable preserves.

With their compact growth habit, fig trees are perfect for integrating into the shrubbery border, adding an attractive contrast with their broad, deeply lobed leaves. Consider pairing these distinctive trees with the elegant pomegranate and the fine-textured blueberry bushes for a stunning visual mix. Complement this arrangement with a lush undergrowth of strawberries, creating a cycle of blooming flowers, ripening fruit, and vibrant fall colors.

The young fig tree’s smooth, flexible trunk lends itself to creative gardening techniques. Train it into an espalier for a living wall, or twist it into a striking specimen tree. If you’re dealing with limited space, lay the trunk flat against the ground, and watch as the vertical shoots transform into a natural, green hedge.

Fig trees are also well-suited to container gardening. The root restriction of a pot often encourages the tree to produce even more prolific crops. So, if you’re an urban gardener or short on garden space, our fig trees will prove a perfect fit.

Embrace the ease and joy of Fruitscaping™ with Fig Trees. Enjoy the journey from planting and care to the sweet reward of your homegrown figs.

Shipping Information

Before Your Plants Arrive: You can find many guides on unpacking, planting, & care, on our growing guides page.

The Journey From Our Nursery to Your Door:  We NEVER ship our plants bare root. Your plant will travel in the very container in which it was nurtured. We thoroughly prune and water them before packing, and make sure they’re well wrapped to retain moisture during transit. It’s as though you’ve personally collected them from our nursery!

Choose Your Ship Date: We understand you’ll want to be available when your plant arrives. Our checkout process features a handy calendar that allows you to choose the Monday on which you want your plant to ship. Depending on your location, you’ll likely receive your plant by Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of that week. Once shipped, UPS will generate a tracking number and send it to the email you provided. You can then follow your plant’s journey and ensure someone is available to unpack it on arrival day.
