Fruitscaping™ with Tangelo Trees

Invigorate your edible landscape with the fresh zing of our Tangelo Trees. These delightful citrus trees are the result of a cross between tangerines and grapefruits, inheriting the best characteristics of both. With tangerine’s sweet, easy-to-peel attributes and grapefruit’s juicy, refreshing flavor, tangelos are a vibrant addition to any Fruitscaping™ project.

Tangelo trees are a joy to grow, boasting glossy evergreen foliage and charming white blossoms that fill the air with a heavenly fragrance. The tree thrives in full sun exposure and well-draining soil, needing consistent watering and a regular feeding schedule to produce its best.

The tree’s fruit is a vibrant blend of sweet and tangy, perfect for refreshing juices, zesty salads, or simply eating out of hand. The peel comes off easily, revealing succulent, seedless segments that are bursting with flavor. The richly hued tangelos also add a pop of color to your landscape, hanging like little suns among the lush green leaves.

Don’t let space constraints deter you. Tangelo trees are well-suited to container gardening, enabling those with limited outdoor spaces to enjoy the benefits of homegrown citrus. With attentive care, your potted tangelo tree can yield a bountiful harvest, bringing a fresh zest to your table.

Fruitscaping™ with Tangelo Trees invites you to enjoy the journey from planting and caring to savoring the sun-kissed fruit. Embrace the zest and vibrancy of Tangelo Trees and experience the rewarding world of Fruitscaping™.

Shipping Information

Before Your Plants Arrive: You can find many guides on unpacking, planting, & care, on our growing guides page.

The Journey From Our Nursery to Your Door:  We NEVER ship our plants bare root. Your plant will travel in the very container in which it was nurtured. We thoroughly prune and water them before packing, and make sure they’re well wrapped to retain moisture during transit. It’s as though you’ve personally collected them from our nursery!

Choose Your Ship Date: We understand you’ll want to be available when your plant arrives. Our checkout process features a handy calendar that allows you to choose the Monday on which you want your plant to ship. Depending on your location, you’ll likely receive your plant by Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of that week. Once shipped, UPS will generate a tracking number and send it to the email you provided. You can then follow your plant’s journey and ensure someone is available to unpack it on arrival day.
