What to Know About the Tree
The Oconee Pecan Tree is a grand spectacle in any landscape, reaching majestic heights with its strong, spreading branches. This deciduous tree boasts lush green foliage that turns to vibrant hues of yellow in the fall, before going dormant in winter. With a stately presence, the Oconee Pecan is not only a prolific producer but also an elegant addition to your garden, offering shade and beauty throughout the seasons.
The harvest season for the Oconee Pecan Tree begins in the late fall, just as the leaves begin their colorful transformation. The nuts mature within their protective husks, which eventually crack open to reveal the treasure within. A bounty of these prized nuts can be expected annually, making autumn a time of abundant harvest and celebration in your own backyard.

Fruitscape™ with Pecan Trees
Experience the abundant rewards of Fruitscaping™ with our magnificent Pecan Trees. These impressive trees not only provide a majestic presence in your landscape but also offer a bountiful harvest of delicious, buttery pecans.
Pecan Trees are known for their stately appearance, featuring a tall, spreading canopy with beautiful feather-like foliage that provides ample shade during the hot summer months. In the fall, the leaves transform into a stunning display of warm hues, creating a picturesque landscape.
Beyond their ornamental value, Pecan Trees offer a delectable reward. They produce an abundance of pecans, renowned for their rich flavor and versatile use in both sweet and savory dishes. Whether enjoyed raw, roasted, or incorporated into your favorite recipes, pecans add a delightful crunch and nutty sweetness to your culinary creations.
Thriving in full sun, Pecan Trees prefer well-drained soil with a slightly acidic to neutral pH level (pH 6.0-7.0). They require deep, fertile soil that retains moisture but drains well, allowing their extensive root systems to access nutrients and water effectively. Proper soil preparation and regular watering are key to ensuring healthy growth and abundant nut production.
Pecan Trees are long-lived and can provide generations of harvests when properly cared for. They are relatively low-maintenance trees but may benefit from occasional pruning to maintain a strong framework and promote optimal fruit production.
Embark on a Fruitscape™ adventure with Pecan Trees and savor the rewards of homegrown pecans. Whether you dream of creating delicious pecan pies, adding a nutty crunch to your salads, or simply enjoying the beauty of these majestic trees, Pecan Trees will be a cherished addition to your landscape and a source of culinary delight for years to come.
