Breeze Lomandra – Bold and Beautiful Choice for Your Landscape

About the Bloom

The Breeze Lomandra may not have showy blooms, but its striking foliage more than makes up for it. This grass features slender, blue-green leaves that add a touch of elegance to any garden. The foliage is evergreen, providing year-round interest and color to your landscape.

What to Know About the Plant

The Breeze Lomandra is a hardy, drought-tolerant grass that thrives in full sun to part shade. It grows in clumps, reaching a height of about 2-3 feet, making it an excellent choice for borders, mass plantings, or as a focal point in your garden. Its compact size and low maintenance requirements make it a versatile and easy-to-care-for plant.

Enhancing your Fruitscape

Pair the Breeze Lomandra with fruit trees like Citrus or Fig for a vibrant and lush fruitscape. The bold foliage of the grass complements the delicate blooms and fruits of these trees, creating a visually appealing contrast. You can also mix it with herb plants like Rosemary or Thyme to add texture and fragrance to your garden. The Breeze Lomandra’s blue-green leaves provide a cool backdrop for colorful berry plants such as Blueberries or Raspberries, enhancing the overall beauty of your landscape.

Landscaping with Grasses

These grasses are so incredibly lovely to use in the landscape because they can be used in so many ways. They can border a bed or be the centerpiece. They can be scattered throughout to create tuffs of texture to contrast your shrubs and trees. Or they can be neatly mixed in with flowers to accentuate the colors and shapes. We love these grasses because of all the fun we have planting them and watching them grow to be such a joy.

Growing Guide

Currently, we only have growing guides for our edible plants.   We are working on them for our ornamental & landscaping plants, and will add them in the near future.  Contact us if you have questions on how to plant and nurture your Grasses, and we will be glad to have one of our gardeners assist you.

Ornamental & Landscaping Plants at Just Fruits & Exotics

Although Just Fruits and Exotics has been providing ornamental and landscaping plants to customers at our nursery since we added “Exotics” to our name in the 1990’s, we never had them available to our customers online.

However, September of 2018, with the launch of our updated Just Fruits and Exotics website, we added many of our ornamental and landscaping plants to our online store for our customers nationwide.   We encourage you to “Fruitscape” your yards, mixing edibles and ornamentals to make your own edible garden.

Shipping Information

Before Your Plants Arrive: You can find many guides on unpacking, planting, & care, on our growing guides page.

The Journey From Our Nursery to Your Door:  We NEVER ship our plants bare root. Your plant will travel in the very container in which it was nurtured. We thoroughly prune and water them before packing, and make sure they’re well wrapped to retain moisture during transit. It’s as though you’ve personally collected them from our nursery!

Choose Your Ship Date: We understand you’ll want to be available when your plant arrives. Our checkout process features a handy calendar that allows you to choose the Monday on which you want your plant to ship. Depending on your location, you’ll likely receive your plant by Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of that week. Once shipped, UPS will generate a tracking number and send it to the email you provided. You can then follow your plant’s journey and ensure someone is available to unpack it on arrival day.
