Little Ruby Fig Tree – A Compact Jewel with Sweet Rewards
Invite a charming addition to your garden with our Little Ruby Fig Tree. This smaller variety stands out with its compact growth habit, which makes it perfect for small spaces, container growth, and Fruitscaping™ alike.
Our Little Ruby Fig Tree yields a delightful harvest of small to medium-sized, ruby red figs that shimmer like gems in the summer sunlight. Underneath the vibrant exterior, a sweet, flavorful pulp is revealed. These figs are a pleasure to enjoy straight from the tree, and their tantalizing taste makes them perfect for preserves, baking, or dried for a natural sweet treat.
Anticipate a fruitful harvest from mid to late summer, decorating your garden with its sweet, ruby red bounty. Despite its generous yield, the Little Ruby Fig Tree maintains a compact growth habit, typically reaching a mature height of around 6 feet. This makes it an excellent choice for gardens with limited space, container growth, or as a vibrant accent in your landscape.
The Little Ruby Fig Tree is not just fruitful, but it’s also resilient, displaying resistance to common fig diseases and pests. As a self-fertile tree, there’s no need for a second tree for cross-pollination – a single Little Ruby Fig Tree will ensure a vibrant, plentiful harvest!
Beyond its fruitful yield, this tree features lush, deeply lobed green leaves that contrast beautifully with the ruby red figs, providing a visually stunning tableau throughout the growing season.
Perfect for small spaces, adding a touch of vibrant color to your garden, or simply for the satisfaction of tasting your own figs, our Little Ruby Fig Tree is a fantastic choice. Order today and anticipate the joy of sweet, homegrown, ruby red figs, right at your fingertips.

Fruitscaping™ with Fig Trees
Embrace the joy of Fruitscaping™ with our Fig Trees. Among the simplest and most rewarding fruiting plants to grow, figs are an excellent addition to any organic garden. Their inherent disease resistance and few pest issues can be managed easily without the need for harsh chemicals, ensuring a bountiful, eco-friendly harvest.
Our Fig trees exhibit a diverse palette of flavors, textures, and ripening seasons. Some varieties possess thin skins with succulent centers evoking the flavor of rich maple syrup – a delight when savored fresh from the tree. Other varieties offer a naturally sweet texture, perfect for drying or turning into delectable preserves.
With their compact growth habit, fig trees are perfect for integrating into the shrubbery border, adding an attractive contrast with their broad, deeply lobed leaves. Consider pairing these distinctive trees with the elegant pomegranate and the fine-textured blueberry bushes for a stunning visual mix. Complement this arrangement with a lush undergrowth of strawberries, creating a cycle of blooming flowers, ripening fruit, and vibrant fall colors.
The young fig tree’s smooth, flexible trunk lends itself to creative gardening techniques. Train it into an espalier for a living wall, or twist it into a striking specimen tree. If you’re dealing with limited space, lay the trunk flat against the ground, and watch as the vertical shoots transform into a natural, green hedge.
Fig trees are also well-suited to container gardening. The root restriction of a pot often encourages the tree to produce even more prolific crops. So, if you’re an urban gardener or short on garden space, our fig trees will prove a perfect fit.
Embrace the ease and joy of Fruitscaping™ with Fig Trees. Enjoy the journey from planting and care to the sweet reward of your homegrown figs.

Choose Your Ship Date: We understand you’ll want to be available when your plant arrives. Our checkout process features a handy calendar that allows you to choose the Monday on which you want your plant to ship. Depending on your location, you’ll likely receive your plant by Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of that week. Once shipped, UPS will generate a tracking number and send it to the email you provided. You can then follow your plant’s journey and ensure someone is available to unpack it on arrival day.
