About the Bloom

The Forest Green Florida Anise Plant may not bloom, but its unique foliage more than makes up for it. The plant features glossy, dark green leaves that provide a striking contrast against other plants in your garden. The leaves exude a pleasant fragrance, adding another sensory dimension to your outdoor space.

What to Know About the Plant

This evergreen shrub boasts lustrous, deep green leaves that remain vibrant year-round. It can grow up to 6-8 feet tall and wide, making it a perfect choice for hedges, borders, or as a standalone specimen. The dense foliage and compact growth habit create a lush, tropical look that will enhance any landscape.

Enhancing your Fruitscape

The Forest Green Florida Anise Plant pairs beautifully with a variety of fruit trees, berry plants, and herbs to create a diverse and visually appealing fruitscape. Consider planting it alongside fruit trees like Fig, Citrus, or Avocado to add a touch of exotic elegance to your garden. Mix in berry plants such as Blueberries or Raspberries for a pop of color and a tasty treat. Herbs like Mint, Basil, or Thyme can complement the Florida Anise’s fragrance and add a culinary element to your landscape design.

Ornamental & Landscaping Plants at Just Fruits & Exotics

Although Just Fruits and Exotics has been providing ornamental and landscaping plants to customers at our nursery since we added “Exotics” to our name in the 1990’s, we never had them available to our customers online.

However, September of 2018, with the launch of our updated Just Fruits and Exotics website, we added many of our ornamental and landscaping plants to our online store for our customers nationwide.   We encourage you to “Fruitscape” your yards, mixing edibles and ornamentals to make your own edible garden.
