Confederate Jasmine Vine – A Touch of Southern Charm for Your Garden
About the Bloom
Embrace the beauty of the Confederate Jasmine Vine’s blooms, which feature clusters of small, white, star-shaped flowers that release a sweet, intoxicating fragrance. Blooming profusely in the spring and sporadically throughout the summer, these delicate flowers add a touch of elegance to your garden.
What to Know About the Plant
The Confederate Jasmine Vine is an evergreen plant with dark green, glossy leaves that provide a lush backdrop to its fragrant blooms. This vine can grow up to 20 feet in length, creating a cascading effect when trained on a trellis or arbor. Its vigorous growth and ability to withstand various conditions make it a versatile and low-maintenance plant for your landscape.
Enhancing your Fruitscape
Integrate the Confederate Jasmine Vine into your fruitscape to enhance the beauty and charm of your garden. Pair this ornamental vine with fruit trees like Citrus, Peach, or Apple to create a vibrant and visually appealing landscape. Mix in berry plants such as Blueberries or Raspberries for a pop of color and texture. Consider adding tropical plants like Banana or Pineapple for a tropical flair, or herbs like Basil and Mint for a fragrant and flavorful touch. By combining the Confederate Jasmine Vine with other edible plants, you can create a harmonious blend of ornamentals and edibles that will delight your senses.

Landscaping with Ornamental Vines
We love the classic look of a lush vine covering a trellised archway or gazebo. Vines are a very useful plant in the landscape because they can help transform a rigid structure into a lush living sculpture. Vines have a way of making you feel at home the way they hold the landscape together. We love to grow them up pagodas to create a natural shady spot for gathering with friends and family.

Growing Guide
Currently, we only have growing guides for our edible plants.  We are working on them for our ornamental & landscaping plants, and will add them in the near future. Contact us if you have questions on how to plant and nurture your Ornamental Vines, and we will be glad to have one of our gardeners assist you.
Ornamental & Landscaping Plants at Just Fruits & Exotics
Although Just Fruits and Exotics has been providing ornamental and landscaping plants to customers at our nursery since we added “Exotics” to our name in the 1990’s, we never had them available to our customers online.
However, September of 2018, with the launch of our updated Just Fruits and Exotics website, we added many of our ornamental and landscaping plants to our online store for our customers nationwide.  We encourage you to “Fruitscape†your yards, mixing edibles and ornamentals to make your own edible garden.
