Product Description
2-1 Hamlin Orange & Meyer Lemon Cocktail Tree

One of our Just Fruits Cocktail Trees.  This is a combination of the Hamlin Orange and Meyer Lemon, grafted onto one tree.  Hamlin orange tree is one of our most cold-hardy sweet oranges. Grown since 1885 this early-ripening, is great for marginal citrus growing regions. The fruit is thin skinned, has a few seeds and a delicious tangy sweet flavor. Excellent juiced or for fresh eating. The Meyer lemon tree is a hybrid from China. Superior to true lemons in flavor. 1/4 tangelo and 3/4 lemon, it is thin-skinned and juicy. Rarely found in fruit markets due to the fruit being too tender and juicy to withstand handling. It is prized by cooks for it’s unique mild flavor, many dishes are built around it’s unique flavor. This variety is more cold hardy than most lemons, able to withstand up to 16F.

The Hamlin Fruit ripens October to January and the Meyer Lemon is a year round producer in mild winter areas. On this Multi-Graft Variety, depending on your zone, we would expect both to fruit in the winter season, and the Meyer to have some potential to fruit throughout the year.

Shipping Information

Before Your Plants Arrive: You can find many guides on unpacking, planting, & care, on our growing guides page.

The Journey From Our Nursery to Your Door:  We NEVER ship our plants bare root. Your plant will travel in the very container in which it was nurtured. We thoroughly prune and water them before packing, and make sure they’re well wrapped to retain moisture during transit. It’s as though you’ve personally collected them from our nursery!

Choose Your Ship Date: We understand you’ll want to be available when your plant arrives. Our checkout process features a handy calendar that allows you to choose the Monday on which you want your plant to ship. Depending on your location, you’ll likely receive your plant by Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of that week. Once shipped, UPS will generate a tracking number and send it to the email you provided. You can then follow your plant’s journey and ensure someone is available to unpack it on arrival day.
