Ornamental Quinces (Cydonia oblonga)

These beauties are a harbinger of spring, often continuing to flower through the summer. Cut branches are treasured for flower arrangements and the smaller varieties make a perfect bonsai. Quince are a snap to grow. What's not to like?

CAMEO Soft, apricot, peachy-pink double blooms appear in spring. Fruit not edible but the birds will love it! Grows to 3-4 ft with a 4-5 ft spread. Ungrafted. Zones 7-9. Self-pollinating. $29.99 3 gal (2-3ft).
